To connect your Instagram to inzpire me, you're required to have a Facebook Page connected to your Instagram Professional account (Business or Creator). The permissions required to connect your Instagram channel come through Facebook, who own Instagram.
1️⃣ Check the Facebook page connection via the Instagram mobile app
The quickest way to check whether a Facebook page is connected to your Instagram channel is via the Instagram mobile app.
Here's how:
Open the Instagram App on your mobile, and go to your Instagram profile.
Tap on Edit Profile.
Select Page to manage your connection or connect.
You might see a Confirm notification next to your connected Facebook Page. If you do, tap Confirm, and follow the instructions to confirm your connection.
If your Instagram channel is already connected to a Facebook page, it will be displayed here.
👋 Note: If the Facebook Page you'd like to connect is not showing in the drop-down from your profile, it may be because you're not an admin of that Page. See how to check your permissions here.
2️⃣ Check the Instagram channel connection via Facebook
On occasion, Facebook may require you to "confirm" the connection between your Facebook page and Instagram channel.
Here's how to double check that your Facebook page is successfully connected to your Instagram channel connection via Facebook:
Login to Facebook via desktop (laptop/PC)
Click your profile picture in the top right, then See all profiles, then select the Facebook page you want to view
Click your profile picture once again, then Settings & Privacy, and then Settings
Under Permissions, click Linked accounts.
Next to Instagram, click View
Here, you should be able to see the Instagram channel connection to your Facebook page. If you see any error messages, such as "Review account connection", be sure to follow the on-screen instructions to verify the Facebook page and Instagram channel connection.
3️⃣ Attempt to connect your Instagram channel once again
Now that you've checked the Facebook page and Instagram channel connections, try connecting your Instagram channel once again:
Login to inzpire me, ideally on desktop (laptop/PC)
Go to the Channels page, located in the menu on the left-hand side.
Besides Instagram, click Connect channel.
You’ll then be asked to confirm you're logged into the correct Facebook account. Either click log into another account, or Continue.
Read the information on screen – make sure you have your Instagram login credentials ready, then click Get started.
Enter your Instagram login credentials, and click Log in.
Select the relevant Instagram channel you wish to connect, then click Next.
If the channel you wish to connect is duplicated, select both.
Select the correct business associated with your Instagram channel, and click Next.
Select the Facebook page connected to your Instagram channel. Click Next when you're ready.
Make sure all access permissions are granted, and click Done.

After confirming the connection between your Instagram account and Facebook Page, you may see one of the following messages:
“The Facebook Page you’ve tried to add is already owned by another business. You can still request access to this Page, but your request will need to be approved by the business that owns it.”
“You must be an admin of the associated Page’s business in Business Manager to confirm the Instagram account.”
This means that the Facebook Page is an asset in a Meta Business Manager account, so you'll need full management access to it there as well. An Admin of the Meta Business Manager account needs to add you to the business, and assign the Page as one of your business assets.
