How to cancel a booking request as a brand.

Once you have sent a booking request to a creator, there may be an incidence when you need to cancel the booking. Read on to learn how.

How to cancel an accepted booking

If the status of the booking request you'd like to cancel is accepted (i.e. accepted, date due, or delivered), you’ll first need to send a message to the creator explaining why you want to cancel the booking, and the creator will need to agree to it.

We encourage you to wait for the creator to send you a written confirmation that the booking can be cancelled in the booking message thread before you submit a cancellation request.

To cancel an accepted booking:

  1. Go to Dashboard, and open the booking you'd like to cancel.

  2. At the top-right of the booking page, click Booking Options, then choose Request Cancellation

  3. Select the appropriate cancellation reason, then click Send Cancellation Request


Our team will then review your request, and you’ll receive a response to confirm whether the booking may be cancelled within 48 hours.

How to cancel a pending booking

If the status of your booking request is pending, you can cancel the booking request without approval from us, as the creator hasn't formally agreed to a collaboration.

We encourage you to message the creator to explain why you’ve decided to cancel the booking request.

To cancel a pending booking request:

  1. Go to Dashboard, and open the booking you'd like to cancel.

  2. At the top-right of the booking page, click Booking Options, then choose Request Cancellation

  3. Lastly, confirm you wish to cancel the booking by clicking Yes, Cancel Booking
