To comply with Swedish tax regulations, inzpire.me handles your taxes for collaborations completed on inzpire.me, if you are an individual residing in Sweden (i.e. not a business entity).

For individuals who reside in Sweden and aren’t registered with F-tax, you’ll be charged a 50% fee, which will be deducted only after you complete a booking request.

The 50% fee comprises of:

  • Preliminary tax or personal income tax, which is known as skatteavdrag på bruttolönen (30% of gross salary)

  • Payroll tax, which is known as arbetsgivaravgift

  • Administrative costs, including the inzpire.me service fee

The other 50% will be your net payment — your payment after the 50% fee is deducted from your collaboration.

How does this benefit you?

Taxes are a pain to understand and do right. But since inzpire.me handles your taxes for you, you’ll be able to:

  • Avoid the headache of keeping track of what you owe Skatteverket for all completed collaborations on inzpire.me, as we’ll do this for you

  • Save time as inzpire.me will report your tax for you

  • Work with more brands in Sweden easily — they’ll be fully compliant with Swedish tax regulations

How does it work?

This applies for creators registered as individuals and have SEK as their selected Wallet currency.

Receiving your booking request

When you get a booking request from a brand, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of the budget. You’ll see what the budget is excluding VAT, as well as your net payment.

Note: If your selected currency is EUR, your budget will be shown in EUR, but your net payment will be shown in SEK.

You’ll complete the booking request as normal.

Invite to Gigapay

Once the brand marks the booking as complete, you’ll get an email from one of our payment providers, Gigapay. It’ll request that you accept an invite to join the inzpire.me team.

When you accept the invite, you’ll be redirected to Gigapay.

Gigapay will ask you to sign up with your BankID or email address, after which, you’ll go through the registration process to create an account.

Making a payout

Once you’ve completed your registration process, you’ll see an overview of your pending payments.

To accept a payment, click on the > icon and click Accept.

Once you’ve accepted the payment, it’ll be processed and paid out to your bank account.

If you have an account with major banks, such as Nordea, Swedbank, SEB, Handelsbanken, and Danske bank, you can expect your payment within a few minutes. If you have an account with non-major banks, you can expect your payment within 1-2 days.

You can find an overview of your payouts in your Wallet on inzpire.me.

Note: Your tax rate depends on your total income for the year. inzpire.me isn’t able to adjust your provisional tax. At the end of each year, you’ll either receive a tax refund or tax back depending on Skatteverket’s tax calculation.
