A step-by-step guide to connecting your social media channels to inzpire.me

Connecting your social media channels to inzpire.me shows brands which platforms you're available to collaborate on, plus your verified audience size, and performance insights.

During the sign-up process, you'll need to connect at least one social media channel to complete registration. Once registered, you can manage your social media channels via the Channels page, located in the menu on the left-hand side.

Connecting channels

On inzpire.me, you can add up to 6 social media channels; Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook, and Podcast.

We recommend that you add all channels you’re active on, since brands can create bookings for one or more of the channels you have listed on your inzpire.me profile.

Currently, only one account per social media channel can be added or connected to inzpire.me. So for example, if you have two Instagram accounts, we recommend that you connect the account you’re most active in, or consider creating two inzpire.me accounts.

Your connected channels will be displayed on your inzpire.me profile. For Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, we update your stats, such as followers, views, and engagements, every 3-4 hours.

👋 Note: Connecting your channels only enables us to receive information such as follower count, likes, and usernames. We don’t receive any passwords. Your passwords and personal information will be protected by the channels. For more information on privacy and security, click here.

Connecting Instagram

🚨 Before you begin: To successfully connect your Instagram channel, please check the following:

  1. You have an Instagram Professional Account (Business or Creator)

  2. Your Instagram Professional Account is connected to a Facebook Page

  3. You have the correct Facebook Page permissions to authorise connecting an Instagram account

How to connect your Instagram account:

  1. Make sure you're logged in to the correct Facebook account. It should be the Facebook account that contains the Facebook page which is linked to the Instagram channel you wish to connect.

  2. Go to the Channels page, located in the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Navigate to the Instagram icon, and click Connect.

  4. Next, enter your Instagram handle, and click Continue.

  5. You’ll then see a confirmation screen that’ll show your Instagram account. Click Yes, Connect This Account to continue.

  6. Next, you'll be reminded to grant all Facebook permissions. Click Continue Connection to be redirected to Facebook.

  7. Be sure you've granted all permissions, then click Continue

  8. You’ll then be taken back to the My Channels page where your Instagram account will show as Connected!

Connecting TikTok

How to connect your TikTok account:

  1. If you're not already, make sure you're logged in to the TikTok account you wish to connect.

  2. Navigate to the TikTok icon, and click Connect.

  3. You'll then be navigated to TikTok, where you'll be asked to inzpire.me permission to connect your TikTok account. Be sure that you've selected the correct account, and you grant all permissions.

  4. And that’s it! Your TikTok channel will now be connected.

Connecting Snapchat

🚨 Before you begin: To successfully connect your Snapchat channel, you must have a Public Profile. To learn how to convert your Snapchat channel to a Public Profile, click here.

How to connect your Snapchat account:

  1. Navigate to the YouTube icon, and click Connect.
    ​

  2. If you're not already, you'll be prompted to login to your Snapchat account.
    ​

  3. Once you've done this, click Allow to give inzpire.me permission to connect your account.
    ​

  4. You'll then be taken back to the My Channels page where your Snapchat channel will show as Connected.
    ​

Connecting YouTube

How to connect your YouTube account:

  1. If you're not already, make sure you're logged in to the YouTube account you wish to connect.

  2. Navigate to the YouTube icon, and click Connect.

  3. You’ll then be asked to choose an account to connect

  4. Once you’ve done this, click Allow to give inzpire.me permission to connect your account.

  5. You’ll then be taken back to the My Channels page where your YouTube channel will show as Connected.

Connecting all other channels

To connect all other channels, simply click Connect next to the channel you’d like to connect, and follow the on screen instructions.
